PSV heeft nog steeds de mogelijkheid om het hoogste aantal doelpunten aller tijden in een seizoen te overtreffen. Momenteel staat de teller op 136 treffers, terwijl het record op 145 goals staat. Dat laatste aantal haalde de club in seizoen 2012-2013, een voetbaljaar waarin PSV geen kampioen werd.
