Het was een wonderbaarlijk positief voetbalweekend voor PSV. De ploeg van Peter Bosz won zelf van Feyenoord (2-3) en Ajax ging in eigen huis onderuit tegen NEC (0-3). De titelstrijd lijkt helemaal terug, hoewel de Amsterdammers de zaken nog altijd in eigen hand hebben. Slechts een punt is het verschil tussen Ajax en PSV op de ranglijst.
