Door de serie The Osbournes op MTV leerde het publiek in 2002 een totaal andere kant kennen van rockster Ozzy Osbourne, die eerder deze week overleed. Na Ozzys pionierswerk kwam menig celebrity met een eigen realitysoap. De lijst is lang: onder andere De Bauers, The Adams Family, Patty’s Posse, De Pfaffs.
