Opvallend genoeg is de komedie de afgelopen jaren grotendeels uit de bioscoop verdwenen. Slapstickfilms als The Naked Gun zelfs al decennia. Nu is er toch een vervolg. ,,Ik hoop dat Hollywood gaat beseffen dat met een volle zaal lachen veel aanstekelijker werkt dan thuis voor de buis.’’
