Royston Drenthe vervolgt zijn loopbaan bij Sheffield Wednesday. De oud-Feyenoorder wordt voor een half jaar gehuurd. Dat meldt de linkspoot op zijn instagramaccount. Drenthe stond onder contract bij Reading. De multifunctionele voetballer gaf deze zomer wederom aan graag terug te willen keren naar Feyenoord. In Rotterdam-Zuid gingen ze echter niet in op de open sollicitatie van de oud-speler van Real Madrid.
